Chapter 2: Drasius vs Zukertort

Alekhine was defeated by Caissa and Drasius. Chessmaster appeared humiliating Alekhine and forbidding entrance into the kingdom of chess. And Chessmaster told Drasius that he should give up because he could never defeat the other gods of chess and least of all the great master he was. And then Chessmaster disappeared.

Alekhine agreed to help Drasius in his war against the gods of chess, but warned him that it would not be easy and they had little time to train. Alekhine accompanied Drasius on his way to the kingdom of chess, and they met Zukertort, who laughed at Drasius for his audacity and stubbornness. Drasius had to impose respect for what he quickly defeated Zukertort, and so he made the other gods of chess tremble.

Chapter 1: Drasius vs Alekhine

Drasius has come to the island of roses to visit Caissa because he wants to learn the mythical game of chess. However, Caissa refuses to teach him, and the chess god named Alekhine appears to tell Caissa that she is forbidden to help Drasius in his desire to conquer the secret of the resurrection.

Caissa gets mad at Alekhine’s words, so she makes a chess game appear. Caissa uses the Menorti tactic, a tactic that is forbidden even by the chess gods themselves. Drasius carefully observes Caissa’s movements and learns that the Menorti tactic is what he needs to get the secret of the resurrection, and thus transform the pearls of Deimante’s soul into the body she was before. Caissa asks Drasius to play chess after showing him the Menorti tactic.

Alekhine is defeated by Caissa and Drasius. Alekhine decides to join Drasius to defeat the gods/goddesses of chess. Alekhine offers his help to obtain the secret of the resurrection in exchange for receiving the throne of the Chessmaster.
